Unhealthy Air Quality Index Alert

Before heading outside, check your local air quality conditions. When air quality is poor, everyone can be affected, but children, older adults, pregnant individuals, and people with asthma, heart disease, or other respiratory conditions may be at greater risk.

🌫️ When air quality is unhealthy:
• Limit strenuous outdoor activities.
• Keep windows and doors closed when possible.
• Use air conditioning on recirculate if available.
• If you must be outdoors for an extended period, consider wearing a well-fitted N95 or KN95 mask.
• Stay hydrated and monitor for symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, wheezing, or irritated eyes.

If you experience severe difficulty breathing, chest pain, or other concerning symptoms, seek medical attention right away.

Stay informed by checking your local Air Quality Index (AQI) and follow any public health advisories. Small steps can help protect your health during periods of poor air quality.
