Food Pantries:

During an emergency, residents are encouraged to utilize food pantries in surrounding towns.
Reference this list or use the Regional Food Bank Mapper to type in your zip code to find which
location is closest for you.

  • The Millbrook Library hosts the Millbrook Community Fridge that is open to the public during
    library hours.
  • Additionally, the Food for Folks Food Pantry at Lyall Community Church is available for
    qualifying individuals in need. To find out if you qualify, call Diane Moretti at 845-242-6508.

Local Dinners

  • Canoe Hill is hosting a Family Dinner every Tuesday from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. This is a free dinner, all are welcome. As of (11/10/2025)
  • Lyall Lunch will resume beginning August 25, 11:30 -12:30 on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at Lyall Community Church. Please come enjoy a homemade soup, sandwich, and dessert.

    All are welcome to join us for fresh homemade soup, sandwich, dessert, and conversation. Lunch is free, but if you would like to make a donation it will be appreciated.

🏠The Town and Village are partnering to host a Community Food Drive from October 30 through November 17. During this time, residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to help support Food for Folks food pantry in Millbrook at Lyall Church and families in need as we approach the holiday season.
Collection boxes will be available at the Village Hall & Town Hall.
Your participation is greatly appreciated and helps strengthen our community through generosity and shared support. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for our neighbors in need🥫🫘
