Dutchess County will host a free rabies vaccination clinic for pets on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hudson Valley Animal Rescue & Sanctuary clinic, 9 Barnes Drive in Poughkeepsie. The clinic is open to dogs, cats, and domestic ferrets ages 3 months and older. Vaccinations are free for Dutchess County residents and $15 per pet for non-residents. Pre-registration is required and opens online March 11. Dogs must be on a leash, and cats and ferrets must be in carriers.
